Volvo / a boring white only car company?
Looking at the Volvo latest marketing scheme, it looks a bit boring. White white white. I went on their website and here's what I saw.
Reminds me of my Volvo 850 V70XC - white car, white block wall, white neighbor's house, white sky, etc.
I miss my bright blue Ocean Race Cross Country XC70 ('whew"! - almost as long as a JLC model name)
But if you go to the Volvo site and look back 100 years, you see they have made ALL KINDS of vehicles in all sorts of colors that we don't know about or have forgotten.
Of course this is not considering the Polestar, Geely, Lynk & Co, Proton, Lotus, etc. families of vehicles that are related. So is that it? you might be asking?
Heavens No! What about all the cars they thought of and DIDN'T make? The concept and show cars:
Hmm, they do seem to favor white and silver cars ... must be all that snow. Seems like the blue and yellow and red cars just got their toe in the doorway (and English Racing Green).

Compared to my existing blue V70XC, the new V90XC was 50% more expensive 20% lower fuel economy (greater consumption) 10% heavier curb weight 15% less space inside Claustrophobic and confining ā with less utility, performance and economy are not worth pay...

New Volvo in USA seems essentially near dead except the XC90.
