PRESENTATION REPORTS: Toyota Mirai
In the years since about 2015 when Toyota introduced its hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, they have sold at total of 6500. I did a road test for WPS in 2016.

In 2016 there was ONE station (and in 2021 there is only ONE fuel station) in San Diego County, with 3.5 million residents.
Free fuel, if you can find it, when you buy a Mirai.
Three fuel tanks in and under the car give a maximum range of 400 miles. The fuel stack converts oxygen and hydrogen to produce water and electricity.
Now they are introducing a new generation of the vehicle, but with very little excitement, sadly. It was more like a lecture from a physics teacher and/or driving safety instructor.

Two models are going to be offered, based on a rear-wheel-drive Lexus platform.

No other emissions but you have to have a drain in your garage or park outside for the water to drain off when you stop (I'm not kidding).

Maybe for fleets, maybe for heavy trucks, maybe if it's your company car and you live in LA. But not yet for the rest of us.
