For a while now, these Astons (and Jaguars) just do not look British anymore... they look like supercars and they are eye-catching, but they have almost a super Japanese presence--like Lexus/Nissan supercar--they lack all subtlety and do not have the deli...

Fair enough.

They certainly don't make them like they used to, in that I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiments! Thanks for looking and chiming in, cheers! Filip

Too beautiful on the other hand missing stoic charm and spirited gallantry soul.

their tradition. Reserved yet extrovert in heritage of their design with hardcore attacking performance and driving.

Do you think it would look better with that rear part....

called the 'shield' painted in the same color as the body of the car? I'm kind of growing more fond of thinking that's the case....

Exactly, that's what I was thinking.

It actually costs less to have that part painted in body color than finished in that fancy 'satin' carbon fiber. Also, it's likewise less expensive even if you want the part to be finished in the traditional 'gloss' carbon fiber, essentially body paint is...

Roughly, but not exactly.

It honestly depends on the exact financials once it comes to that point. The seats, and the paint itself are the biggest question marks for me, as they are among the most expensive options....
