So how will this effect Renault? Apart from the very valuable Adrian Newey data they will be missing out on cash cow Red Bull leaves...

It is, I feel, a very smart move from Red Bull. Not only will it save them a lot of money (I assume), they maybe even get it for free? But also they have secured a true #1 status engine supplier. In the end Renault will favor the Renault works team (obviously). Further more, and I don’t know much about the Japanese but I do know that failure won’t be an option this time for Honda (after the Brawn debacle), RB knows for sure that Honda will give them 100%+. Especially since McLaren left them, which must have stung (Alonso Alonso Alonso....another wrong choice I’m afraid).

Verstappen for World Champion with Honda-Red Bull in 2020? Or will Ricciardo stay on long enough to clinch a title with Honda-Red Bull. He is the one that has to make a very tough decision. Stay or go...

Are new rules coming into place in 2020? Have to say I lost touch somewhat lately...

I’m just giving Honda another year to get to grips. Some changes for next year in the rule book as well btw. But nothing major. Hopefully they will fix the aero on the wings a bit so dirty air behind the cars will be reduced.
