The thing is....
they have truly succeeded in giving the 4 cylinder engine the power and torque output of a 6 cylinder engine by using both a supercharger to increase torque at lower RPMs and also a turbocharger to increase torque at higher RPMs. This is where these engines truly shine and the torque delivery is genuinely flat throughout the power curve. It is admittedly not a huge power curve in the T5 and T6 variants but it is more than sufficient for what any of the customers will actually need in real-life driving conditions. Unfortunately, I am literally preparing to end the day after having worked from 9am to 9pm so I simply don't have the mental presence to write my review today, I will do so 100% tomorrow during the day. My sentiments are definitely in-line with yours. For a genuinely sporty, personally appealing SUV I'd get a Cayenne GTS. For a primarily family-friendly SUV with all the safety tech you could wish for I'd get an XC90. Happy driving! Cheers, Filip
