Went out for a longer drive innthe 1967 Pagoda 250SL yesterday.
Typically Danish summer weather, thus top up, top,down and then top,back up. Anyway, here we are. Made it to,the destination. Oh, wore a nice watch as well.

It might seem like a hassle , dealing with the older mechanical issues but there’s probably a charm to all of that.

My father had a 1965 230SL. He bought it that year when my family lived in Germany. He shipped it back to the USA in 1967 when we moved back. I wish he kept it, but unfortunately for me he didn’t.

Actually this is my second Pagoda. My first was a 230SL as well. Had to sell it in exchange for a wagon when we had twins… Here it is playing get away car for a friend’s wedding many years ago Claus ...
