While digging in my HD, I fell on these 2 pictures, featuring an Audi S2.... A bit like the Madeleine from Proust. I immediately recalled how fascinated I was with this car. It was a fast car, secure, also, and reliable. With a small touch of sportivity. ...  

... but the price was so way out of reach .... i dreamt of a green one ... . Actually i still think it's a fabulous looking car, not the regular Audi Coupé but the S2 with the nice underskirts and the beautiful wheels ... . One day we booked a testdrive w...

The Scirocco II came in the early 1980... I had the first generation from 1978. GT, 90 HP. But it ran pretty fast and was super exciting to drive. I got it from my mother in 1983, it had 120 000 Kilometers, and I drove it for 5 years. Had to let it go, no...

Don, i had a 1987 Jetta which i kept for 11 years and drove 290,000 hard kilometers ... the engine went dead because of the severe abuse. There was some rust but just a tiny bit; i even remember i once cut out a part of the inside of my wheel arches at th...
