The Alonso, you will pay it 43 K euros more for a different setting of the suspensions ( which I don't really care as those of the R are enough for me, and I prefer having my own setting ), and for some aesthetic differences which I don't like ( the rear painted in black is not my taste at all ). The only thing I like more on the Alonso is the front hood, which I find veeery nice. But still, 43 K euros more for that, no, not for me.
Now, that being said, the R has a fantastic aerodynamic set and that makes a huge difference. Very well made, Alpine.
Though, I am a bit disappointed they didn't go farther with the engine: No dynamic admission, no special intercooler, no sports cat... Too bad. No improved brakes, either...
Yes, my friend, going from a Pure or a Legende, and working on it, that is really rewarding... And very efficient, and... Less expensive, at the end!
Best,
Nicolas
