Agreed, Formula E has a soundtrack that is a bit... (imho) of a letdown. Agree the rules/etc are a bit unique, and personally think they need to overlay Mario Brothers 'Gold Coins' or some such for the power / pass bits (in other words, augmented reality ... 

I too lament the end of the ICE era…this post is more of an experience as opposed to a preference…

Guess the future is no drivers and it's all optimized for virtual racing. Maybe that will, eventually, lead to F1 becoming an eSport?

Even a cursory analysis reveals that the numbers don’t work barring government mandates. What numbers? Cost and availability of raw materials required to increase the scale of EV manufacturing to match that of internal combustion engines, cost of and time... 

I do support electrification for public and fleet but IMHO the system must neither penalize nor discriminate peoples choice of car, hobby (vintage, mod &Sport) and especially sport competition car in anyway.
