Kermit the Frog GT3 for me!

That Taycan looks super cool.  Especially in the matte black.  You're lucky to have the privilege to see one.  I haven't seen a single one up here in San Francisco.  You'd imagine they'd release a lot of them up here in Tesla country!

I'm happy with my Tesla.  No Taycan needed.  Besides, I wouldn't be able to drive the Taycan from San Diego back to Northern California.  Not enough charging stations along the way.  Tesla on the other hand has several charging stations along the way.

Now that GT3 RS will be lovingly fueled at gas stations up the route.  If only the pricing was a bit more reasonable!

You can't wipe the grin off my face as I drive my kids or golf buddies and their clubs around my my Cayenne turbo

Very cool car. Love that color!

Got to test drive a Taycan turbo and the acceleration is mind boggling!

The color of the car is dark metallic black but they put a matte wrap over the paint

It had just been wiped clean and there was moisture on the wrap giving a bit of a mottled look up close. I got there late and missed the presentation but did get to sit in the car. I'm not a fan yet. Cazalea

Here a WPS member who warm welcome the new Porsche. But i am not an e car lover, when there is also a petrol tank in the car. I want a diesel Taycan. Or chose a Panamera diesel?

On the contrary, I think the best of all possible worlds is an electric with gas hybrid

 By: cazalea : February 15th, 2020-15:28
I 've. had pure electric, regular hybrid, and now have electric WITH gas engine plug-in hybrid Volt. Given where we live in California and the distances we drive from town to town, we need more than 100 miles a day, and we need a car that will take us to ...

The Turbo badge on the Taycan is truly ridiculous ...

I completely agree with you about the Tesla charging infrastructure

When you have lived with a Tesla electric makes sense on a daily basis. I keep my petrol cars for when I’m not in a hurry ;-))

I'm enjoying mine!

Some faults I've discovered with the Tesla. Mostly ergonomics and quality issues. My Mercedes-Benz has always had hydrophobic glass but the Tesla doesn't. All of my cars have always had a floor mounted gas pedal, the Tesla is top mounted (it's easier to b...

Thanks for sharing that info...

MyTesla has been faultless and great to live with.

I suppose I could go with this Taycan if I had to, it raises the E-bar. I agree that hybrids do make more sense unless all you do is short hops around

This car is

a joke. After one (1!) serious round on the Nurburgring, the battery is empty. Drive it under normal conditions on public roads in Germany, I mean like a sportscar in general and a Porsche as such is meant to be driven, you get 215 km out of the battery. ...

+1 on all counts! [nt]

As a matter of fact, I’d take your P1800 over a Taycan any day of the week... seriously.

Me too! [nt]

I didn't pay much attention to the leather (or is it non-animal origin pseudo-leather?). The biggest concern to me was the total lack of knobs or switches. Everything is done on the flat panels by look then touch. Given the usual dust and debris that accu...
