I read today that 1960's Corvette engines had 250-300 parts.

In my wristwatch research, I've documented 281 watch movements that have more than 250 parts. Amazing - as many parts as a Corvette engine in a very, very small case!

And are those included in watches? Gaskets? Just curious who counts what.

The Corvette engine will rev drastically faster than anything inside a watch, though π

Well, like the 'super thin' RM needed a large external tool....
By: enjoythemusic : May 10th, 2025-21:35
...the MIT version can easily be read... via electron microscope, so like the RM you just need an 'extra' bit. LOL
