The first Turbos always had lags, but than it comes like a kick in the back. Wonderful!

Happy days...I had two a red one and then a Tour de Corse version with over 300 BHP and Kevlar and aluminum body. Both cars were road registered !

One of the most iconic cars of its era. I had a chance to buy an unmolested white R5 for $16K and regret to the day for not doing so. Oh well my M1 filled the void of the R5. Only 200 R5's were imported to the US. A very rare sighting now.
