I always admired the Spider ...
and enjoyed the race series. The original design and the first cars didn’t have a windscreen, keeping the weight of the car as low as possible. Ultimately its nemesis was the Lotus Elise and Exige

I grew up watching rallies in the 80s
One of my dad's friend was a race driver and had all the nice cars back then, the integrale and the Turbo2 were my favorite, so over the top in person as a young kid.
