Pretty much the most fun one can have with 44hp on four wheels

Mar 17, 2019,05:07 AM

Awesome is all I can say! Snow, swamp, rivers - whatever you throw at it, the Sherp simply shrugs off. Going slowly and doing standstill donuts has rarely been so much fun 😁

As said, a 44bhp Kubota engine, 1,6 meter tall tires, fully inflatable via the engine, standard tire pressure of 0,06 bar (so the tires are screwed onto the rims), amphibious, seats 8, top speed of 45 km/h and steer by brake, like in a tracked vehicle 😊

Have a great weekend!

There’s a serial production...

And you can easily buy one, if fishing or hunting is your thing 😊

It definitely was - too bad the ride was short...

But already looking forward to repeating the experience - and to make it much more extensive 😊

Awesome!

That just looks like a great time waiting to happen! I would love a chance to play with one of those out in the country with a good mix of terrain. Very cool, and thanks for sharing.

They don’t come cheap...

Apparently around €80k here and 85-90k in the EU or US. But so much fun 😊

The cost seems about what should be expected.

The ability to have fun, however, is unlimited!

Absolutely - I expect one could enjoy it even in a city...

You surely wouldn't notice speed bumps in this thing

For sure!

And I’d be willing to bet it will turn more heads that anything else, too!

I WANT ONE! It looks like a 4-season Lohr on steroids

 By: cazalea : March 17th, 2019-07:20
Lohr was a French military utility vehicle with Citroen 2CV drivetrain. After a few tours in France & England, I desperately wanted to buy this one off my pal. However, even without alcohol it provoked one into unreasonable risk-taking. Favorite vehic...

I guess the frontal protection...

Leaves a bit to be desired due to lacking crumple zones but the it only does 45kmh. 😊 If you ever get here I will work on arranging a test drive πŸ‘πŸ» And that Lohr - superb!

Love it to bits, its aesthetics even look highly attractive to me! The practical application for it is enormous . Thanks a bunch for sharing here, please do again after more extensive experience! Cheers, Filip

Can be both, Patrick

 By: KMII : March 20th, 2019-01:56
It is definitely designed as a working vehicle for remote areas, with space for 8 or alternatively as a self contained unit for 2 (including beds in the back, so you can live in it over prolonged periods). At the same time you can of course use it for fun...

Very cool!
