The Alpine sounds like it's just right, not over-tired, not under-tired. With modern tire technology, tires have gotten so much grippier in the past 10 years, that 245mm for 300 hp is very doable, especially considering the light weight of the car, the 215mm is agreeable as well, as it's enough for the braking of a fairly light car. Back in 2004, my BMW 545i had 325 hp and had 245mm front and 275 mm rear tires! And back then, I was saying that's a good amount of tires! But today, considering tire technology has improved so much, it'd be too much tire and an unnecessary waste of money and fuel. Also in 2003, Mercedes debuted their E55 AMG which had 476 horsepower but only a 265 mm rear tire! I was wondering why the car had such small rear tires for the power - that car was severely under-tired. But today, 265 mm with 476 hp would be just right, since tire grip have gotten so much better over the years.
