How spacious are your driveway and parking outside the garage?

My observation is this - multi-level lifts are very useful for filling that empty air space but you need room to bring out the ground floor vehicles first before you start taking down the stacked cars.
My greatest problem with my storage is where to put the 'everyday' cars while I am extracting the Lotus or Citroens, because our street parking is limited. I usually have to move 3 cars first which involves parking and walking back home a couple times. Maybe I need a turntable on the driveway and another lift up the side of the house ...
My friend who runs the Auto Museum restoration shop spends hours a day jockeying cars up/down and in/out. As a private person you wouldn't have the issues he does but still it greatly impacts the desire to ever drive the car at the back and top of the lifts.
I know my neighbor hasn't had his Pantera out for a very long while ... He wishes he had put all his junk on the lift and left the car on the ground.
I recently looked at a new-construction house which claimed a 5-car garage. It's quite deep but not so wide, and it's low. An elevator and stairs took up at least 2 cars worth of space. Plus due to the hillside and crowded short dead-end street off a major divided thoroughfare, there is no open parking within blocks of the driveway.
Not good for me.
But your new garage looks very no-compromise-wonderful. A big clean empty rectangle ready for toys. And you have enough electrical outlets to keep all the trickle chargers going without running cables everywhere (another point to remember with cars on lifts)
Congratulations!
