We hae nowadays a new A6 Quattro with V6 engine as family car.
Last time we drove to Lapland and back, about 2,500 km, the average consumption was 5.2 l/100 km. Modern technology is wonderful especially taking into account that we were 4 in the car + dog + full luggage compartment. Best, Kari

I would never remove cats for a street car...best I've done is a free-flow exhaust (though some use high-flow cats). Catless brings the terrible smell of gasoline.
