Here Are a Few Pics

I took at a Maserati coffee morning in Pimlico. Mine was the pale blue 3200GTA. A wonderful car, I can't remember why I sold it.
I agree with you that they were a gentleman's GT rather than a road-going track day car.
I thought that the deep green Gran Sport was a great car, and in this colour especially beautiful.
Regards
Antony

Another beauty which makes my heart beat faster... The beauty of the line, the melody of the engine, And... A nice signature on the rev meters... Best, Nicolas Credit pictures: Carandclassic. ...

Ah no, to big and boring

Really???

 By: amanico : February 11th, 2021-14:31

Yes, ok maybe the engine.

But I prefer the more sporty cars. This Maserati is a compromise. Think of the Alfa 4c is it has to be Italian. Or 8c.

Back in the day ...

I always preferred the original “boomerang” rear lights ...

+1

Definitely 👍

When Maserati dropped the characteristic tail lights

many car enthusiasts boooooouuuuht. Me also. Another subject: .... when Porsche replaced the air cooled boxer for water cooled, and replaced the front lights for eggs, it was a giant failure. 911.

Good humor

 By: Weems@8 : February 13th, 2021-13:52
very good humor. But when the engine is behind the front seats, 50/50 weight ratio, than a car is glueing like a gecko. Never experience it, so it is my wish to drive a Ferrari 488. Rear wheel drive mid engine. And another way, engine in the front, but be...

Perfect set up

That is well balanced. Don’ts for me are, front wheel drive, engine in the front, 4 wheel drive. Favorite: Rear wheel drive, central placed engine. Enjoy your Alpine!

Correct.

 By: amanico : February 14th, 2021-07:50

True!

 By: amanico : February 13th, 2021-17:13

Agreed.

Great condition for a 2006 car.

4.2L V8...a bygone era.

Whoa, this one got driven!

I really enjoyed driving this car when I had a few opportunities to do so. This was the first high-end emotional car I've ever driven.

Put on a good song and roll down the window.

 By: patrick_y : February 12th, 2021-08:16
The first time I drove this Maserati I’ll never forget. I had a song “Somebody Told Me” from The Killers playing on the radio. Windows were open. And the engine was singing. Great experience.

Interior is nice but will have sticky buttons as the car ages...

The car isn't extremely reliable. The manual transmission might be more reliable than the "Cambiocorsa" transmission which is a single-clutch F1 transmission (I drove the Cambiocorsa). But the car was overall nicely balanced, I'd say it has reasonably goo...

I've driven many.

I've driven many cars, I've had several very nice cars as company cars. But to this date, I've never owned a true "exotic" car. Who knows, that may change one day.

Exotic ala Alpine? ;)

Too bad they don’t sell the Alpine in USA!

 By: patrick_y : February 13th, 2021-09:58
I haven’t driven an Alpine yet!

Can’t wait to see the amazing city of light!

And when you come to San Francisco next I will take you for a drive in either the Amg or the Tesla!

We'll take the AMG to Napa wine country.

And you'll taste very big, powerful, and fruity wines that are different compared to the terroir-focused, earthy, and subtle French wines. We Americans like things big and bold. Especially cars. Despite having speed limits of only 105 kph! I don't think t...

I liked this one as well

 By: George Gently : February 11th, 2021-23:14
Though the new rear lights totally ruined it imo. So meh. Regards, George

In total agreement.

Yes, pretty boring car in the end

 By: penfriend : February 12th, 2021-00:17
when it was released I tested it because I am fond of italian cars and finally there was a Maserati again. it had no chance against my (at that time) 993 Targa in terms of interior appearance, handling and engine - so I staid with the Porsche until I cras...
