Last ride of the year ?
Gave the Café Racer a good wash and went out for a little trip.
I really like the looks of my Ducati but sadlyit will have to go. I am simply waaaay too tall for this beauty which makes it sometimes a bit difficult to manoeuvre at low speeds.
It is fast enough to get me in some serious trouble, you easily reach speeds up to 180 kph, even in a 50 or 70 zone, but stiill ... it is waaay too slow for me.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not as if i want to do 200+ all the time, but with 75 hp and the suspension setup not being up to Ducati standards it is a bit too dangerous for me.
The sound on the other hand is fantastic, the Zard exhaust ( with db killer removed 😁) and a different air intake give it an amazing rumble.
But , what to buy next ?
A hyper bike ? Maybe, but only if at least 50 Ppro Purists sign a contract they will visit me in jail ;-)
And i need a good lawyer 🤪

I have my eyes on a 900 SS right now, though be it not a pre 1993 like yours. We will see.

I just sold my Triumph for size reasons too. My wife was not too happy at the back either... I will make a pause during the winter, have a quick chat with the judge, and then think about a Multistrada ...

a 200 ( minimum ) hp Ducati. So,automatically within a week i’ll be in jail. Those 50 people promise to visit me .. well 5 up till now that is 😬.

You are 100% right. These machines are not meant for the road. The last speeding "surprise" I got, I had to check at what point you actually end up in jail :-(
