And i wil tell why.
I drive a Honda Civic Diesel.
A story.
But when i resume my story, i like your Renault Clio Sport story. Great sporty bomb.
Why my car is also the last real great Diesel in it’s segment.
It is a reliable car of Japanese make. Toyota and Lexus are the winners of the high quality car league. (Own opinion)
But... Toyota and Lexus ban Diesel cars. Reason, too much failures with the technology.
Honda had not even 1 problem. So Nissan is there, but also my own opinion, Toyota is the best and Honda follows quickly at the second place.
So i own a Honda with a fat 2.2 Diesel engine with specs that Peugeot, BMW, and also Renault made, but with the knowledge it is strong, can not break down.
With all the anti news about diesel cars and the car makers are put into a corner of curse.
A great technology which is not dirty, but set into the dirty and unclean corner.
My diesel Honda Civic is clean, and i can even drive climate nutral, i can fill the tank with green diesel oil made of fruit waste and drive without any problems.
But the diesel cars must go away, so i own the last of the Mohicans.
A problem free car which is sustainable as centuries, greener than green. Fast, strong, fuel economic, co2 circle nutral.
But before i go to cry, i want an electric car. Why?
I like new technologies, look ahead, see how Tesla’s win sprint duals, i breath petrol and i like electronics also.
But how diesel cars are put away as dirty is politics.
Turbo versus atmospheric. Two clubs.
It is almost like mechanical watches versus quartz watches.
I am a turbo guy. Explained, it push up, fuel economical, more torque under rpm regions so shifting gear is another story.
Also the kompressor at the crack shaft mostly on Mercedes engines is great to drive. In English they call it a supercharger.
Natural aspirated engines are for me only interesting if the engines are big and tuned like yours and for example Porsche engines.
In a normal car a turbo boost a bit, so it feels not too slow.
The last tru great diesel car in it’s segment. (c segment).
150hp 350nm torque. Goodby Honda Civic diesel. 👋🏼
