You're probably right.  Few cross shop a semi-GT Vantage and a mid-engine super car. 

Hmm, admittedly, I'm just constantly drawn back towards the former Vantage, what a beautiful car...  Not a lot of power in the V8 model, but that's only further excuse to make a little more engine noise! 

The V12 Vantage S model boasts around 550 horsepower and an even more impressive soundtrack...  Those are extremely emotional cars.  Great sound machine, too much power for that chassis, gives it a touch of danger, like one of those earlier AMG-Mercedes vehicles with power that overwhelmed the chassis.  But mostly interesting because of that character in the sound. 

The DBS is a sharp looker too, maybe that's the better way to go...  And that carbon fiber body is definitely worth merit.

the interior looks thoroughly luxurious and ergonomic as well. I was curious to read what the responses here would be like, I intentionally didn't post a front image of the car yet because to me it is the weakest point design-wise. A tad too bland/generic... 

Please....open a dealership near me.

i saw this on FB earlier and the comments and reviews were not very welcoming....many said it looks like Mazda MX-5. Anyway, I like it. Rgds Raymond

I have to say, as much as I like the car (a lot ), the resemblance of the front cover to a Miata is unmistakable . On the other hand I am confident in it being the most appealing new vehicle for ~$150K on the market. For a certain kind of customer that is...

For that kind of money I'd rather pony up the extra dough to get into a Lamborghini Huracan 580-2 or better yet try out a used MP4-12C. I just passed on a 2011 Vantage, stick, 8k miles, stickshift, gray (tungsten) exterior, gray and black leather interior...

it won't hold that value for too long. It is simply not as much of a timeless classic as its predecessor, but I do think that in that price range for a brand new (relatively) high-tech sports car it holds its own against the Huracan, 911 and well, not so ...

you've hit the proverbial nail on its head. The Vantage of choice would still have to be the V12 S, but the car I would part with my own money for is still the marvellous DBS. I would simply love to have the opportunity to test both the DBS and the Vanqui...

that I had decided to sell my Vantage. Now I can dream of the new one - and a dream it will always remain unless I swap my watch collection for one
