. . . now. Back in '73 I was riding shotgun in my pal's '70 440 4-barrel GTX on our way to Riverside. We pulled up alongside a '69 Hemi R/T Charger driven by a blonde.
My pal took one look at her. She dropped her shades and looked right back. We were doing 80. Two seconds later it's pedal to the metal, and we're up to 120.
She had three car lengths on us before Berge backed off.

Oh, and Mark Donohue . . .
. . . won the Riverside 400 that day.
