Model S cars use a lithium battery with a chemical architecture that prefers to be charged to 80-90% on a regular basis and only 100% on an as needed basis. It's also recommended that you don't go below 20% charge on a regular basis with a Model S vehicle...

My car has the FSD package. But I'm not utilizing it. I guess I'll wait until it's a bit more mainstream to the public.
