I feel insulted!
In July, Porsche and Rimac Automobil announced a plan to fold Bugatti into a joint venture called Bugatti-Rimac. The deal stipulates that Rimac will hold 55 percent of the venture while Porsche will hold 45 percent. Rimac founder Mate Rimac characterized the acquisition as "removing some distractions" from VW, saying,
“Bugatti will become like an expensive mechanical timepiece—a beautiful, if irrelevant, status symbol.”
As proof, here’s the new €4 million Bugatti Bolide:
Forget this 40-unit, track only model. I’d rather have the new $2.6 million Countach. Another unobtainable, fast, fat, ferocious beast.

Mechanical timepieces from 3-4 brands have become the new “asset” and “status symbol”, much to the chagrin of purists. That being said, I’m confused, is Bugatti being repurposed (as a brand)?

What is the best car ever? A sensitive and not so easy to find answer. I thought a lot on the subject, and came to this conclusion. From a technical view, i go for a LaFerrari. The best? A 911 GT2? A Nissan GTR Nismo? A Bugatti Chiron? A Koenigsegg Regera...
The problem is that Bugatti without VW is not going to be able to produce exceptional automobiles...

Yes. We shall see. Porsche's venture arm isn't really on top of this stuff.
Porsche's venture arm has a series of projects that are truly second rate and not commensurate with the brand. They're just not great venture capitalists. If I could, I'd go in and try to re-manage all of it and overhaul some of their projects.

That 70’s is even more modern than the new one… Bugatti is just overhype… they get slap in their game so many time that they stop completing in any world faster or first... Going electrification is the way forward. There is a saying- rich ppl play watches...
And yes, a lot of guys here with high complication watch and exotic cars or even yacht.
Maybe I should borrow some cars from my in-laws. ; )
