I associate Judd GVs more with endurance sports car racing

Though Judd's heritage is open wheel competition, I'll always associate the company with the endurance sports cars powered by the GV4.0 and 5.0 V10s of the 2000s. That banshee F1 howl was something else echoing off the banks of Daytona at 2AM during the 24 hour enduro; Judd-powered Dome protos fielded by Jan Lammers' Racing for Holland were faster than the era-dominating Audis on the Mulsanne Straight at LeMans.

For that reason, I'd say the the Rolex Daytona comes to mind. I watched the Lista-Doran DallaraSP1/Judd GV5.0 win the overall at Daytona in 2002, and the entire driving team walked away with steel 116520s.

Best,
Tim
