Had a little classic mini run through the coast. It was a lot of fun winding through the hills with these little go carts. Too much fun for adults. ...

Great fun Bill....

One of my favourite cars of all time. I’ve Owned a few in my time, including a Cooper and the combination of light weight and a wheel at each corner is incredible.

From an age when a Mini still was a Mini...

I still remember it felt like a cart, it was pretty slow as the engine was only 850 cc but the fun i had was unequalled . Do you own one Bill ?

Really superb! [nt]

I think 100 hp with that engine for road use will be near the limits but oh soo much fun. 100 hp for 600 kilo ... my Clio has 200 hp for 1240 kilos so that's roughly the same ratio ... WITH the exception that your Mini goes round the corners like a mad ma...

Do you know this UK based company Swiftune ?

These guys go all the way to make your Mini fast. I think i once posted some photos here on the forum.

The car is built for the street so i have performance and reliability.

The car needs to be driven like a sports car to keep it happy.

What fun!

Brings back memories of my mini clubman in the seventies---although very hot and humid in tropical singapore without air-conditioning.

I loved my 1275 GT, with Janspeed high compression head, 5 1/2 inches of Weber carburation, modified ports & exhaust, electric fan et cetera. A GREAT car. [nt]

And a superb Webasto full-length sun roof! My car's only downside was its terrible Dunlop 'Denovo' tyres, which had an early system of self-sealing in the event of a puncture. This consisted of cylinders of sealant that fired when the pressure dropped. Th...

My friend Steve wants you to see his Mini

This car had a 1400cc engine about 110 hp but unreliable due to immature drivers hooning around like madmen (that would be him and me). Sadly it burnt up in a typical California brush fire. Steve built up another one - green - with 1275 and 5-spd but I ca...
