He is now in his 4th season. I don't buy into the 'boy' thing. He is not boy when he signs a man's contract or wants to be treated as n.1 driver, but he is boy every time he crashes (i.e. every weekend this year).
Speaking of Lewis, it was in his 1st year that he did the mistake that he did, while in that same year he had made a new record of podium finishes's string. Plus, in his 4th year (where Max is now), he was already a world champion and having missed my a sniff two more titles. Basically he was a legend (I am no Lewis fan for the record; a Nando fan). Max is a talented semi-serious charlatan of the tracks with an overblown ego, thanks to bad mentors (i.e. Marko and Horner). Very much like Vettel was back in the day who was winning championships thanks to largely illegal cars and genius aero, while his talent was scarcely good enough to beat a journeyman team mate..like with Kimi now..
My point being, Max has talent, but he needs to accept that legends are people who do things against the odds and beat logic. He seems to be the odd, not the one beating it, so far.
Sorry for the blathering my friend
All the best,
Alex
