… my favourite from around that time was the Renault Espace people carrier fitted with the Williams Renault F1 engine. You could drive at nearly 200mph with 5 friends!

I never had the chance to try it out or never have been in the passenger seat. I did try the Clio Rsi which was a bit lighter but had less power, 110 hp i think, out of a 1.8 litre engine, Anyway, the sucessors to the Williams weren’t particularly bad eit...

Not with the Clio ... at least not the first 160.000 km ... with the Beemer I knew after 1000 km I was going to end up somewhere I wasn't supposed to end up. Eventually it took over 80.000 km ...
