Dirty Bird

I try to drive the Blackwing year round.  I look for a minimum of 40 degrees so the PS4s are not too miserable.  We were in the 50s yesterday, so I got a 25 mile drive in.  Harder to keep clean this time of year, but who cares.  The joy of driving a manual transmission is always worth it!

Just preparing taxes, and planning out the next month or two when it comes to work....

Keep dreaming, M4.

I GUARANTEE the fastest your Rift Metallic has ever gone... is with me behind the wheel ;-) But you can buy me lunch next time I visit. I'll drive to Julienne T's, as usual.

Ha ha, that's funny.

In these temps, the wheels will spin in 4th gear. Yes I am serious. That is what 659 Ft-Lbs and RWD does!! Yesterday, I started at a stoplight in 2nd gear. It will go past 80 at redline in 2nd. Sort of like having an auto for those slick roads. Seriously ...

I know the feeling on all accounts Michael!

My touring is on PS4S and I get out if it’s above 40deg F as well. Also my car sees about 5 car washes a year. ...

Looking real good there, JP.

Mine definitely is not a storage machine. I bought it for the joy of driving, and I smile every time I take it out. Probably a bit easier in a sedan than a true sports car. Next winter, I might buy a 2nd set of wheels and all seasons. It would make dodgin...

No different than watches for me. I wear them all.

Purchased for enjoyment, not collectability. I will acknowledge I am more careful with the car. It won't be parking at a shopping mall during the holiday season, that sort of thing. So much easier to keep good care of a watch.

Actually

It looks really clean just lots of metallic flakes-great ride

I would say that is Black Raven...

However, I know how the color can mask itself in lower light conditions! It really is special, with the metallic flake often hiding itself... until it doesn't. Thanks for adding the photos, my Friend. ...

Probably GM's "Black Raven" paint

They have used that for years on Cadillacs. Black Diamond Tricoat is a very limited color that has only been used in a few model years.

Been busy…
