100% - 'a tank' on wheels . Best of all, due to the hybrid V6 powertrain it manages to get 23 miles per gallon in city driving.... Thanks Nico, Filip

Have fun, my friend.

Indubitably.

Next one, however, will definitely be an Aston ........

My favorite truck trim....

 By: InHavenPro : November 19th, 2022-23:18
ever . Gorgeous leather and overall design details. The most favorable thing was that I was able to get it 'at the bottom end' of the trim's pricing scale.... Generally, American luxury truck prices have equalled those of luxury German trucks and sedans. ...

Congrats!

That brown interior is going to be a strap wristscan monster

Hahahaha....

 By: InHavenPro : November 19th, 2022-23:20
Good call, I totally agree ....

Thanks :)

 By: InHavenPro : November 19th, 2022-23:30
This is my 4th one in a row (since 2015), and each one has served my purpose immaculately well. I am actually confident that this will be my last traditional pick-up truck, it simply doesn't get any better than this in that context.... Cheers, Filip

Enjoy it Filip!

I'll post more detailed thoughts with slightly more time behind the wheel, and after fiddling with the myriad of software options.... Much appreciated Michael! Cheers, Filip

I nicknamed it....

in Ford's digital settings 'Ranchero', as an hommage to Ford's past success and leadership in the segment . Cheers, Filip

Congrats Filip! I doubt the 23mpg...

... but as a European mind this 'vehicle' is far beyond my comprehension ๐Ÿ˜ณ Anyway I'm very happy for you as you obviously enjoy it! Have a safe ride, always! Cheers, Alex

Oh....

 By: InHavenPro : November 19th, 2022-23:50
Not to be concerned! I have a 'European mind' as well, I'd never in my life drive a vehicle like this on the Old Continent! This is for the enormous swaths of land on the New Continent which are truly best covered in behemoths like this! I will likely dri...

A nightmare!

 By: InHavenPro : November 20th, 2022-00:12
I only ever owned one compact car in Europe - a 2003 VW Polo. That tells you pretty much everything related to my sensibilities for driving in any European city. Even my late father, who lived in Europe for over 30 years before coming to South America, an...

Indeed :)

I didn't have time to immediately purchase a bed cover, so I stuck the signs in the storage box behind the front seats.... I'll get a regular cover soon, and likely a camper shell next year....

=D

 By: InHavenPro : November 20th, 2022-20:29
Cheers!

What a beast !

 By: bimbeano : November 20th, 2022-00:06
I've never been a big fan of pick-ups but I can appreciate them anyway. During the 90ies when I worked at my uncle's place we had a Chevy pickup as a company car. 6.2 V8 diesel with 140 hp. I once managed 190 kph on the highway fully loaded ... those were...

Lmao!

 By: InHavenPro : November 20th, 2022-00:17
That takes some guts x)).... Personally, I love all forms of transportation, it simply depends on the context you want to apply any vehicle to..... Like that famous saying goes - if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree.... Transportation in gen...

Great truck!

Which watch goes best with it? I might choose a Daytona? Upscale but not too ostentatious.

I think....

 By: InHavenPro : November 20th, 2022-01:39
you hit the nail on the head with that phrase. That competently sums up my luxury product perspective, regardless of product category. In my opinion, yes, a non yellow gold Daytona would work really well with this combo. So would a number of other choices...

Cute, they didn't have anything bigger ;) Congrats!

 By: Fastwong : November 20th, 2022-03:27
As much as I love European cars, I've always said you can live anywhere and buy a 911. Only in America can you get big trucks and muscle cars. Enjoy the new beast!

Exactly!!

 By: InHavenPro : November 20th, 2022-03:33
That's one of the major points to make here . Oh, and quite miraculously, they had one truck even bigger than this one! The latest Ford Raptor with 37" tires. The retail price for it is $86K, but the dealership marks it up another $35K for a total of $121...

Congratulations Filip

Particularly like the interior, looking really good. Talking about Europe. Even in my tiny The Netherlands I quite often see them driving around. Mostly Rams โ™ˆ๏ธ Wish you many safe miles in it. George

I agree George,

 By: InHavenPro : November 20th, 2022-08:07
the interior is well and truly the biggest selling point of this particular King Ranch trim! It is as sumptuous and beautiful as any luxury vehicle interior, including the standard S-Class (I drove the latest version) etc. The Dutch do have an interesting...

Coincidentally this weekend my nephew asked for advice on buying a used truck

Chevy 2500 4x4 crew cab long bed, 256 inches long, 80 inches wide, with a 34 gallon fuel tank! (650cm x 203cm and 129L!) All I could offer was โ€œAre you sure?โ€ Look how much longer it is than the parking space โ€ฆ Yours is a beauty. Cazalea ...

Wow....๐Ÿ˜„

 By: InHavenPro : November 20th, 2022-16:56
That easily beats mine for size, if I'm not mistaken, mine is 157" long, 6.5' bed, with a 26 gallon fuel tank. 3.5 liter V6 'PowerBoost' (twin turbocharger) engine with a small electric motor for a total of 430hp, and 575lb/ft of torque. It does 0-60 in t...

I think your truck must be 250โ€ long

 By: cazalea : November 21st, 2022-05:47
Wheelbase might be 157โ€; but thatโ€™s only 13 ft Mike (car & truck specs are my specialty)

This must be in the....

Owner's Manual! I do think you are correct, of course . That's the one thing I haven't gotten around to browsing yet.... Still got the next couple of days to indulge doing so ....

Mike....

 By: InHavenPro : November 24th, 2022-04:28
To briefly follow up on our truck length discussion, yes, you were unsurprisingly correct. The wheelbase of the truck is 157.2 inches, and the overall length is 243.5 inches. The inside length of the 6.5' bed is 78.9 inches. Cheers, Filip

Very cool.

 By: Bill : November 20th, 2022-22:25
Probably qualifies for over 6000 lbs

The truck itself....

 By: InHavenPro : November 20th, 2022-23:39
weights 7,350lb, I will double check the exact towing rating, but you are indubitably correct! Thanks Bill, Filip ...

that they not only look great, but are truly an awesome value proposition. The Rivian is phenomenal, but far more expensive than the Lightning....
