I didn't know anyone was making replicas of bent window Pre A coupes and, although it appears well done, this would be no different to me than owning a fake Patek or Rolex.
I do understand the appeal, especially since the price of originals has skyrocketed over the past couple decades. I've even considered buying a Beck 550 Spyder because it would fun to drive but then I come to my senses.
But I do believe it's acceptable if the replica owner doesn't badge their car as original. I know of one owner who's car even proudly wears the badge of the replica manufacturer, Intermeccanica. At least owners like this aren't trying to fool anyone.
Like I said, I don't see this as being any different than wearing a fake watch.
