Still in love 😍.
A 2 litre naturally aspirated engine, 222 hp and revving all the way up to 7800 rpm.
Even the torque isn’t bad Compared to a modern car, 250 Nm ... over 200 Nm from 2500 to 7500 Nm, over 200 hp from 5800 all the way up to 7800 rpm.
6 speed manual gearbox with an aftermarket Quaife limited slip differential.
I have driven this car for almost 150.000 km now and still it feels rock solid.
It just doesn’t shine like on the above picture, taken oct first 2010, so tomorrow i’m gonna send it to the spa i guess 😁.

... an A110, especially the steering feel ... and also similar to a 911 GT3 in a way ....

I had a Clio Williams and loved it. I like the Megane Trophy-R, but still a bit expensive. On my favourite list is also the RENAULT SPIDER, which actually has a Clio Williams engine if my memory serves me well.
Spider had the same 150 hp engine yes.
The Megane trophy-R is a very radical beast, price is 55000€ and if you add the carbon wheels and brakes it’s 80k 😁. The regular Trophy will only cost you between 33_40k and is already bonkers ! My Megane is a standard 2018 with the 280 hp engine and the ...

Megane 2 RS had the R26-R with plexi and roll cage. Megane 3 RS had the Trophy-R with Ohlins composite suspension and roll cage. And now there is the new Trophy-R with lots of that same stuff.
