We talk about "tractor" movements, but here's to real tractors

"A tractor is an engineering vehicle specifically designed to deliver a high tractive effort at slow speeds, for the purposes of hauling a trailer or machinery such as that used in agriculture, mining or construction."


Recently my next door neighbor bought his own (mini) Bobcat. He let me take a spin around the yard -- I forget how much fun this is ... and how terrifying.



I'm better with forklifts and on harder surfaces. I have very few photos of my driving, but a few from the driver's seat (a bad idea operating equipment AND a camera, but here it is)








Any one else out there who likes tractors and heavy equipment?

It was as large as I could go and still drive into containers. Unfortunately, the height difference between my dock and a container floor on a flatbed was about 12". Getting up this ramp when it is wet with smooth lift tires was a real B*&^H! I never ...
