Oil and fluids look like they were changed probable at the end of the last driving season based on how clean everything is but I'll change the oil, etc just to be safe. One of the fuel pumps is a bit noisy but works fine, I'll have to replace that soon though, before it fails. And it needs new struts in all four corners but so far that's about it, mechanically. Brakes, hoses, belts, tire, etc look to have been replaced within the past couple years. It had collector's plates on it from the previous owner so it seem at some point it stopped being their daily driver and was only used for pleasure and/or show.
Now I just have to put some miles on it, short trips at first, then as I become more sure of its reliability I think I'll use it more than the E420 as my daily driver. I'm looking forward to that!
However, my wife did ban me from any other frivolous purchases 'until further notice' so hopefully I won't come across a watch I can't live without for awhile. We'll see how that goes...I'm only human, after all...
