A week-end in Normandy dedicated to Cars. First, a nice ride in my Volvo P 1800E. The weather was nice, so it was ideal. A first stop at an Alpine dealer, at 60 kilometers from Paris, for a quick test drive of the alpine A 110S, not pictured here. Then, a...

Did any of the sales guys mention the possibility of a drop-top Alpine in the future? The package is probably too tight for this style exercise but I was just wondering

Ha! I am not surprised

Maybe it will be released in a couple of years when the production volumes start dropping

Lucky you my friend, lucky you... enjoy !

I used to be crazy about driving fast and furious also, both motorbikes and cars, now forget it I have moved on to other things as you know… But I am still very happy to see such nice cars and see that you enjoy such crazy nice machines

And brilliantly. [nt]

an adventurous car filled weekend Nico. Thanks for sharing it here. Looks like good weather too! I’m surprised that you have not already put down an order for one 😬 Or you are still contemplating on the colour dear friend?

Nice pictures !

Did your friend already had a go in a A110? It goes exactly as i said, drive it and you buy it, Alpine should really start some kind of driving experience system in oreder to sell more cars. Filip

The Alpine seller told me something very funny: " Even the silliest seller can sell an Alpine. He just ha to give the keys of the car for a test. " Yes, I brought my friend in the A 110 ...

For a two hours drive, in the small country roads. Back at the dealer, he signed an order. A 110S for him. Best, Filip. Nicolas

What fun!

Dedicate the weekend to cars AND or women... win win!

I've always thought the KG coupe was one of the nicest looking cars and owned a '63 back in the early '80s.

Fun to drive although slow, even after larger pistons/cylinders, raising the compression, performance cam, lightened flywheel, header, and progressive Weber.

I paid $100 for my KG back then. It had a seized engine which my father, who was an airplane mechanic during WW2, used as my introduction into engine rebuilding.

At that time I was just beginning my life-long obsession with sports cars, but had no practical experience with them. I learned a lot rebuilding that entire car from the ground up, all the while driving it to school and my night job, often when not comple...
