... It only generates 43 miles of range per day, so if you want to go without charging, going 60 mph it'll net you about 20 more miles of range on your drive.
If you're just using it intermittently, then you have plenty of time to find a place to plug it in and put the solar panels on a building's roof instead of lugging them around with you.

And apparently when fully charged the car will go 300-ish. I could probably own one of those cars and literally never plug it in (although it would not be suitable for long road trips).
