Not Really

Hi Cpt Scarlet
Funny enough service costs with this model was minimal as it spent so much time back at Aston Martin being fixed they hardly did any mileage so didn't really need servicing at all just constantly being fixed. We had a friend of the family that proudly bought on of the first ones in the first year of ownership it spent roughly 9 months back at Aston Martin being fixed and hardly anytime being used on the road. Whilst it looked futuristic and to many stunning in the real world it was a lemon and a complete piece of crap.

Classic Question ...

 By: Cpt Scarlet : October 5th, 2020-03:10
This is the Aston Martin Lagonda, a futuristic design back in 1974 designed by William Towns and conceived in an era of Concord and the LCD screen. The hand-built Lagonda was amongst the most expensive luxury saloons in the world and combined striking sty...

Can you tell us anything more about it ?

Sadly not mine but a super rare Patek Philippe Nautilus Ellipse aka 'Nautillipse or Ellpisilus'. I believe it was a marriage between two Gerald Genta designs: The Golden Ellipse and

 By: Tim_M : October 5th, 2020-03:54
Which was considered the least controversial. Especially in its first three series, the Lagonda was considered a "weird" looking car in its day and featured ambitious electronic interior displays that flew in the face of Aston tradition. I'd wear the cont...

Thanks for giving us your opinion on this subject. The car was controversial and for some remains so but history shows that many controversial designs take time to be fully understood. Kind regards The Captain

I've always liked it

 By: Tim_M : October 5th, 2020-08:41
But I liked it when it was a $20,000 car in the 1990s and I was a kid. Back then, you couldn't give these away -- not least because the instruments had a tendency to die. Best, Tim

Interesting that nobody has posted a JLC Amvox model yet.

 By: Tim_M : October 5th, 2020-08:46
I guess those only reflect DB-era and 21st century Astons. Cars like the Vantage Zagato of the 80s, the Lagonda, and the similarly Townes-styled AM Bulldog concept seem like an evolutionary dead-end in retrospect. Best, Tim

That car was the Fisker Karma of its day. It was a gorgeous body with too much shoot-the-moon tech by a brand too small and poor to integrate or de-bug any of that cutting-edge technology. Best, Tim

The opulence and the luxury !! Wouldn't mind that four combo right now though, if you do get that combo, get enough for me to join ya :p Two Lagondas, two cigars, two whiskeys, and two gentas! We would be the absolute ballers (24k magic!!!) ...

Thank you!!

 By: Spencer Karrington : October 6th, 2020-07:31
I thought it would be a good choice since it is very complicated, angular but has some curves, and quite techy for watchmaking. Another one from Genta would be his octa watches! ...

Very interesting question.

I would like to wear the watch that Kojak wore in the TV series (sorry dont know the model). Actually a watch my parents gave me coming home from a trip to NYC. I was a star at school at least for a limited time

I would strap on a Ventura V-tech Alpha

then I would get confused over how to work the watch AND the dash controls Cazalea ...

My watch preceeds it by a couple of years...UN High Beat Chronometer
