No, it is a British '69 Trident Clipper V8

The chassis with its running gear comes from an Austin Healey 3000 Mk. 3, engine and gearbox is Ford (289 and Toploader). This is a small English brand, building about 85 cars from 1967 to 1976.

For legal reasons, it is almost impossible to register real Hot Rods for road use in Switzerland. My only contact with them has so far been through "The Rodder's Journal" (I love their personal writing style, the deep research for the articles and the quality of photographs and printing). Having seen the best of the best in this magazine, almost everything I found at US Car Shows over here was disappointing. But thanks for the tip to follow also the AMBR contender presentation on the web.

At least I tried to avoid the braided hoses for the bigger fluid lines, but then ended up with material also used in Formula 1... Since all is reversible, I feel not even guilty for "messing-up" a classic car. Björn ...

Trying to guess is tgat a bronco. Nice engine detailing.
