From the early 2000's, when cars were still cars, with soul and character. Not everything is perfect, here. The line is gorgeous, but the rear body is strangely " broken ". Some will love, others won't. The interior is appealing, but the quality is so so....  

She saw such a GTV a few days back and asked me "what is THAT? gorgeous car". She had not seen one in the past. I can already feel the rubbery gear change from a distance, and hear the glorious V6 engine note. I grew up in a Busso 164, so I am biased in f...

if I had to sell one. Mainly because it is a better daily car (due to the race set up of the coupe). And taking the roof off is quite an experience to drive - you can even go more than 250 km/h without wind turbulence in the car, I even wear my basecap

...and a manual transmission, it's all good in my book. Must be fun as hell to rev it high : )

and also design-wise (being an Alfisti) this was to me one of the rather bad developments as it is not really a timeless sculpturing

...Italian engines usually love the RPMs...and if there's no turbo, it's the only way to get any torque.

These never made it across the pond, and it is a great shame. I have owned its predecessor the 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 2.5 for 28 years and along with my Jeep Wrangler will never sell it. I bought it as a broke college student, to be a daily driver…I learned...
