It’s super light weight thanks to the carbon fibre body all round, a traditional Chaplin’s sports car. It’s the first Lotus with front engine / wheel drive.

And they seemed to have the most completely "finished" interior of any Lotus excepting only the most recent cars from the manufacture. Seriously, compared to the kit-level dashboards of the early 90s Esprit and S1 Elise, the M100 seems almost like a Japan...
