Have owned the corresponding Mercedes Benz E320 Coupe since 2013 and it has made for a great regular driver!

Bought the Coupe with 60k km from an old lady who was the first owner and put on an additional 115k km over 8 years no problem at all. The only non ordinary maintenance issue has been the windshield wiper motor that failed twice and is expensive to replace on the W124 (for a wiper motor that is). In terms of bigger issues the cylinder head gasket and the cable tree of the engine need to replaced on many 320 engines. This was on the order of EUR 1k each when I bought the car but neither has failed so far on mine. Another issue on any of these late W124 can be body rust depending on if they have seen a lot of salt on the road during the winter.
Was thinking about adding a Convertible ever since but the girl keeps saying I shouldn't get any Convertible given my chronic sinus problems. Coincidentally I checked the classifieds last week for E320 Convertibles for the first time in many years and was surprised how little the prices had gone up since I got the Coupe. I think it is a great car for driving rather than for collecting / investment purposes.
I won't comment on the price without having seen the car but I believe you will have a hard time getting a very nice E320 Convertible for much less than EUR 30k.
