For now. But easy or quick charging is just an infrastructure question, not a tech one.
Improvements in charging speed and access solve most of the problems. Plenty of people shied away from gas cars due to price, complexity, and scarce infrastructure in the first decade of ICE. Horses made more sense when stables were common, hay was cheap, and gas stations were rare.
