Red or red?

Spotted these two cars few days ago which share the same colour... only (or I missed something). A Bentley Mulliner (if you have more info about it) and a Mini Clubman Estate. Are you gentleman or gentleman farmer? Which one is your favourite? Best wishes...

That's a Bentley? 🙃🤔 [nt]

It seems yes or I really missed something 😁

+1 absolutely agree with you.

In my opinion red is allowed only on Ferraris. Anyway a pretty rare sight. Best.

It is a Red Label, see emblem and center caps on the wheels.

Instead of a RR engine it has a BMW 4.4L twin turbo. I do not think it was very well accepted.

Many thanks Jerry for these additional info

I thought the Red Label...

...designated the 6.75 engine? In any case, I don't think BMW engines appeared until the Arnage (and then very briefly...VW/BMW/RR/Bentley kerfuffle era)

You are correct .

I was backwards on the designation. Sorry about that.

Thanks guys for all the info

I appreciate the correction. I remember looking at these on the secondary market years ago and the green label version were taking a much larger hit than the red label.

It seems to be a colour available in the Bentley catalogue at that time and not a tailor made one

But I'm with you. For such a car and brand, a more discrete colour would have been better in my opinion. Best wishes Alkiro

Once when I dropped off my silver Bentley for service they gave a RR loaner.

It was turquoise with a silver hood and trunk lid. I drove about a mile and had to take it back, the color was just too much for me, seemed like everyone was staring.

Not a great experience for sure

I like the big Bentley's but that one...

is just too much, imho. I'd prefer the old Cooper... Interesting comparison, Alkiro!

Thanks Thomas

Although I might prefer a different colour, I'm gonna go w/ the better driving pleasure and ride quality, which is the main purpose of choosing a car here...
