Congrats. I have had mine (E90 Sedan) for 5+ years.

It is a wonderful and well-balanced car. A stealth sports sedan if there ever was one, and with an extremely special engine in the S65.

Goes so easily from docile to hooligan.

Taking it to the 8,400 rpm redline is quite an experience (one that I enjoyed on the way home from the gym this very morning).

When I think of what else I could buy on the market right now, there really isn't anything that compares from an overall experience perspective (in the sedan category, and for even 50% more in price). Yes, many newer cars are faster, but the naturally-aspirated high-revving V8, paired with the lightening-fast DCT transmission, hydraulic steering, and relatively compact size and reasonable weight just makes the overall experience terrific.

That blue is a great color (Interlagos?). Enjoy!

Cheers,
John

I strongly believe some 'end of line' mechanical solutions will keep their values in the future (think V12, manual gearboxes etc.). This M3 is an oddball in the historic lineup, never to be repeated so this should qualify! Would love to try one some day

The last of the mohicans

On an earth where the civilians want ecological solutions for moving, a V8 is a lovely dinosaur. I recognize it when i am enjoying my diesel powered Honda. Knowing i drive sustainable, but the majority think it wil damage nature. E cars are not bad, but i...

The sound of that V8 is something else. lots of HP but missed out a bit on torque. I don't understand how you can still find them at such good value, knowing that this generation of the M3 V8s and M5 V10s came once and will never come again. I'm positive ...

I’ve had an E92 M3 since new (about 8 years now). I wish I’d bought an E90. It’s getting time to move on but I plan on keeping one ICE car long term. I thought it would be the M3, but it will probably be the replacement (to be determined).
