Hooning around in a 900cc twinair panda while the alfa is in the shop for a timing belt job. In many ways this is the modern-day 2CV, you forget about performance numbers and just enjoy motoring at its purest, a rare breath of fresh air in our often too c...

i wonder about the complexity of the conversion, I do enjoy thinking about the street parking in eletric vehicle spots!

Besides the sound as Nico mentioned, most of them involve about an extra 500 lbs of battery — when the whole car itself weighs only 1400 lbs.

reminds me being front passenger in a friend's 2CV and seeing the road next to my left foot, holes... Hopefuly he replaced the frame a few years ago and still uses it in Paris. I think his parking garage costed him multiple times the value of the 2cv. But... 

Alfa, Fiat, and Doxa! First two cars were Fiats (124 Sport Coupe then 124 Spider), then an Alfa Spider ... and much later, a covey of Doxas ;-)
