I like hearing the impressions of an "AP old-timer".  Hopefully I can track one down to try on later in the year.

So I had the chance to play around with the CODE 11:59 chronograph at the boutique I think the CODE has potential I tried both the RG and the WG the case construction is very good and the layering or stacking of the case with the middle octagon case ring ...  

I like the case elements, but agree with you on the dial, hands, etc...

Goin to be hard as AP is so sure about it's own creation they pulled it from all shows accept their own boutiques...

I respect how much time/investment/risk it takes for a company to release a new watch and especially, a new line of watches. I love the 11.59's case, movement, and a lot of other aspects about it but the dial is too simply for my tastes. I would have pref...

I'm similarly situated in that I think the case, movement and even the glass have tremendous opportunity to be great. It's the dials that (for most 11:59 models, not all) seem to fall flat. I'm sure they are nicer in person, I've yet to see one in the met...
