Thoughts on the white ROC 41mm? (The cover pic is wrong, from CODE Starwheel).

Got to try on at AD, and I have to say. I liked it a lot more in person than I expected. Although in pics it reads as white, the dial is more of a silver in person.

Not 50th…

Does it read too big on my wrist? I didn’t notice it in person, but in pics was surprised.

You’re correct, this beautifully unique dial is always more accurately regarded as silvery white.

Wrist shots can be deceiving, especially close up, because it can make many pieces seem larger on the wrist than in reality. That’s why I liked your ‘distance shots’ such as the Code pic because it gave a more realistic impression, IMHO. That being said, ...

That is a 41?

Like like a bigger Offshore on you.

Agreed!

Yes they are both 41mm. I have no problem with wearing the Diver, and it’s a 42mm. When you put the Starwheel photo right next to the ROC, in some ways the Starwheel reads as bigger. I think that you are right, it’s probably the focal length of the photos...

That being said it does look a bit large on some of your pics, almost panerai-esque. I would suggest trying other sizes if such a thing is possible at least to compare.

I think it looks great on you and love that dial color

I think you manage it OK.

Tough to tell with the sweater. I have forever been enamored with 39mm APs, but have come to very much enjoy wearing 41mm. The extra dial real estate is appreciated on a chronograph, and for me the case fits fine (I have a rather flat top wrist, which is ...

Thanks!

That makes sense. The bracelet wraps the wrist, so it looks bigger, but I do love the bracelet.
