They must have gotten your email from somewhere. Either you've filled out one of those contact cards in the AP boutique or they bought it off a list (American Express sells lists of big spenders by region, maybe you swiped your card on a plane ticket that had DXB on the itinerary (AMEX's database knows where you've traveled and what kind of plane tickets you've bought, but it assumes your plane tickets are all for yourself, so if you've never bought a plane ticket to Dubai, but have bought your family member a plane ticket there, AMEX might make an incorrect assumption). It's also possible that you're subscribed to the Seddiqi group emails from one store, where they've captured your data. Seddiqi Group is the primary distribution partner for AP in Dubai and possible all UAE.
