Wasn't code 11.59 created to break boundaries? Those models convey vintage vibes that totally do not make sense for the collection. Just my opinion based on the renderings!

Definitely an improvement - considering where the Code has come from, it could not be much worse though

able to see all the novelties in person. A real treat! Staying on the new AP Hotel. Snow all around. Today we saw part of the collection and tomorrow we travel for the day to Le Locle to see the Grand Complications. Sounds exciting!

41mm is way too big 35-38 is the way to go Also I prefer the hands on older models.

I’m exceptionally tired of the 41-42 mm craze, 38 is the sweetspot for a dress/time&date only watch and 40 mm for a sports watch. I don’t even consider the larger ones.

But when it comes to $20k+ watches, I don't mind being hard to please!

I was just reflecting yesterday how standards for what is “basic”/“entry level” has changed so much that it seems $50-$60k is soon to be accepted as entry. We don’t get into pricing discussions here, appropriately, so just saying this as a sign of times…a... 

But very objectively I do not understand the dial design. The case I get it. But the dial no. It’s pretty boring to me. Best Gatsby

I see the CODE case as best for that type of watch. If they plucked the exact new dial and layout and put it in a steel Royal Oak, I would still go for the CODE 11.59 model.

I thought the Starwheel dial worked BEAUTIFULLY with the Code case and is the only dial they've put with it that I'd say that about. Which is to say: the complicated mechanistic look of the Code case calls for a dial that brings the same vibe.

That blue dial is absolutely gorgeous. The hands and indices are a huge improvement.

After AP have now definitely corrected the initial design mishaps of the Code 11.59 by very substantially improving - and even perfecting - the dial texture, hands, indexes, date window and inner flange, they can now start thinking about adding a steel an...
