Pfff ! These AP RO are simply stunning

The charm of vintage with a timeless design.
Amazing how AP managed to make an incredible series of amazing AP RO with 5402 15002 14802 15202 but even 14790 or 15450 are also great for smaller wrists without mentionaning all the variations with Kasparov chrono...
But like with other brands, even if the contemporary offer is nice, nothing equals nice vintage pieces that have an unrivalled charm imho.

Donโ€™t want to pay market prices and I donโ€™t like participating in the steel craze. I say ten years.

Have to agree...

I simply can't justify the cost at today's prices to chase the craze. A shame that they are not more reasonably priced ~ thus is the market

I donโ€™t get it honestly...

Kind of feels like a conspiracy of sorts...

5711 has gained hype of unrealistic sorts...

Totally out of galactic proportions.. Vintage, I agree, should command a premium: It Was First! (First Ever Luxury Steel Watch, and meant to be, not a tool watch converted to be luxury)

My point, exactly. [nt]

I would have thought an original A series would be hovering over 100K

I guess we will have to pass The Steel Craze and transition to the VINTAGE CRAZE!!!! If only I could read markets, than I would play securities!!

Very nice photo, Nicolas.

you have to get a modern version so you can wear it more and not have to worry about scratches my friend ...

I was thinking about this one...

 By: amanico : February 4th, 2020-08:19
...

Scratches...

 By: Dunajska : February 17th, 2020-07:06
Do you think the brushed majority of surfaces help mitigate noticeable scratching on today's models? Why do you think these are less prone to scratches?

Truly. [nt]

Great piece! Im doing some research on 5402, would you mind sharing the first two digits of the series number? Would love to help the community pin down the dial changes to somewhat specific serialranges.
